Bizzare arrest of 55 Christians and three Muslims creates tension in Saddar Faisalabad!

The Station House Officer (SHO) of Police Station (Saddar) of Samandari in Faisalabad district has registered a blasphemy case against 55 Christians and three Muslims on the charges of desecration of a Muslim graveyard, despite there being no physical evidence or other support for the allegations. In fact there is no proof of the Muslim graveyard ever having existed! Praying for the persecuted!

Over 600 Christians met and prayed for the persecuted church of Iraq.  Wilson carried the cross a recognised symbol of our faith. A one hour prayer vigil was held at Parliament Square yesterday.  At least 600 Christians came together to share a time of corporate prayer over the terrible situation faced by minorities in Iraq. Wearing red to symbolise the blood of martyrs they came without banners.
